Bing rewards was launched in India recently, for more info please checkout my recent post on how to earn from Bing Rewards India.

Automation Script -
Bing Rewards requires one to perform unique searches on bing to get the credits which can be redeemed later for Freecharge Credits.

Let's cut to the chase, this searching part can be automated in a click of a button.

Steps -
  • Set chrome as your default browser.
  • Login into Bing and don't foget to select " Remember Me " option.
  • Open a new text document ( Right Click > New > Text Document )
  • Copy paste the following code into the text document.

  • After copying the above code just save it as " bing.vbs " and select " All files " in Save As Type box below the File Name box ( File > Save as > bing.vbs , All Files )

( vbs is the acronym of Visial Basic Script )

  • Now just double click on the file and relax now the script will automatically open chrome and search random words on bing and closes it (This process will go on for 10 times) you don't have to move a mouse and finally check your Credits and enjoy.
Note - Just double click on the " bing.vbs " file daily and let it do the job for you.

The first portion is the MailBox name and the next one is the domain name, in our case its Gmail.
The MailBox name points to your MailBox hosted on the Domain Server.

Now here's the trick ,
> Suppose your mail id is - cybergeekin@gmail.com add a dot ( . ) anywhere in between the MailBox name.

> You can also use multiple dots , just make sure that you don't use any consecutive dots.

    About DNS -

    • DNS is the network service that translates a website's name to its Internet address.

    Why does DNS matter ?



    • The DNS protocol is an important part of the web's infrastructure, serving as the Internet's phone book
    • Every time you visit a website, your computer performs a DNS lookup. 
    • Complex pages often require multiple DNS lookups before they start loading, so your computer may be performing hundreds of lookups a day.

    Cause Of The Problem -
    • This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network.
    • It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing your browser from accessing the network.
    Error message looks like -

    The server at www.cybergeekin.blogspot.in can't be found ,

    Check your DNS settings.
    Contact your network administrator if you're not sure what this means.

    Try disabling network prediction.
    Go to the Chrome menu > Settings > Show advanced settings... and deselect "Predict network actions to improve page load performance." If this does not resolve the issue, we recommend selecting this option again for improved performance.

    Allow Chrome to access the network in your firewall or antivirus settings.

    If it is already listed as a program allowed to access the network, try removing it from the list and adding it again.

    Hi , smartphone users or should i say Android users ?

    • You probably would have purchased your smartphone after doing hours of research in the internet about its specs , performance and i can say that you've read more than 50 user reviews about the phone , Right ?
    • One of your main concern would be RAM (2 GB min) as it is directly related to your phone's performance speed .At first you can't find a lag or glitch in your smartphone it will be smooth as butter . Well , it's manufactured that way.
    When the Problem Starts

    • It would be 5 - 8 months since your purchase and now you will be starting to experience performance degradation and there will be lags here and there while you swipe through the menu or when you dial a number .
    • Here's the problem , android is all about background tasks just visit your running apps section in your settings . You would probably find a bunch of apps running and using the RAM without your permission . Damn , that's bad right ?
    Some apps that you haven't used in decades , even those guys will be running behind the screen and eating your RAM/Memory .
    Solution 1:

    > Uninstall unused apps(Rarely Used) or useless apps that you won't need right now
    (You can always download it from playstore when you need it )

    > Stop using RAM cleaners like Cleaner Master etc , they are actually ineffective as the apps tend to restart immediately after it is closed which probably increases the CPU load.

    > I'll tell you more about how RAM cleaners are ineffective in my next post.

    Solution 2 [For both Non-Rooted & Rooted devices] :

    > Use Greenify (PlayStore Link)

    What Greenify does ?
    Greenify is actually a battery saver but it saves your RAM too. 

    • Greenify actually does stop background apps from running behind the screen when you are not using it (Literally).
    • Unlike RAM cleaners , Greenify stops the apps from running behind by enabling hibernation mode and stops the apps from restarting
    • You can use Greenify to stop specific apps from running behind example games can run behind even after you close it.
    Use this app to stop background applications to save your RAM from those buggers

     Steps To Use Greenify -

    Step 1: Check your running apps before and after Turning on Greenify.

    Step 2: Install Greenify ( PlayStore Link )

    Step 3: Open Greenify and click on " + " to add apps to the hibernation list.

     Step 4: Click on Show More apps and add them to list.

    Step 5: Some apps won't appear so you need to manually open the app by click on search icon and open the app which adds it to the hibernation list.


    Step 6: Create a hibernation shortcut to turn on hibernation easily.

     Step 7: Allow Greenify to be your device administrator so that it can stop apps from running behind.
    *Note - If you've got root then there are more additional features in greenify.
    Step 8 : Use the hybernation shortcut to put the apps to sleep . Click on it and watch what happens .Then go to Settings > Running Apps and you'll see the magic.

     Solution 3 (For Rooted Devices Only):

    > Use LagFix (PlayStore Link)

    What's LagFix ?

    • LagFix is a user-friendly implementation of fstrim utility. It allows you to select which partitions to trim (you should leave defaults unless you know what you are doing) and run the process easily.
    • Please note that fstrim output depends on kernel and device. It works fine unless you see errors. You might see big amounts of bytes, zero amount or repeating amount. All are fine! Read fstrim manual to understand why all these outputs are valid.

    Steps To Use LagFix -

    Step 1: Install LagFix (PlayStore Link)

     Step 2: Open the app and click Run and give it some time  don't close the app.
