It has been a long time since i've posted something useful. Today i'm very happy to review an android application " Take Care - Emergency Contacts " developed by my buddy Arun CVF with the motto of saving lives.
A Simple Tweak Can Save Lives
Consider a situation, you've met with some kind of accident and what if someone tries to inform your family but they couldn't do so because you've setup a lock which has to be opened before accessing contacts.

Lets consider a situation where you dropped your phone somewhere or lost your phone, someone picked up your phone and wanted to return the phone back to you but they could not do so since you've set up a lock which has to be opened before making a call.

Nowadays everyone has a lock setup on their phones which can be a hurdle in emergency situations. Our Application Take Care - Emergency Contacts knows no hurdle.



In such situations Take Care - Emergency Contacts comes into action, this application lets you to set four important contacts as Emergency Contacts that will be displayed on your lock screen all the time so that in case of emergency someone can use the emergency contact displayed on your lock screen to call your loved ones and inform them about your situation.

Steps to perform Recharge Tricks

Step 2: Start BS-Tweaker in administrator mode.

Step 3: In BS-Tweaker click on Start BlueStacks .

Step 4: After bluestacks is up and ready change the device model on Bottom right corner (choose any latest model) and click OK.

Step 5: Then change "GUID" by clicking on "Random" button , then change "Google Advertising ID" and then click change under "Android ID" and click Random > OK


Step 6: Now click on Restart BS for changes to take effect.

Step 7: Install any one Free recharge app like Mcent , Cashboss , Grappr ... and earn your recharge.

Step 8: After completing all offers & recharge works go to BS-Tweaker and change GUID , Google Advertising ID and Android ID and click "Full Stop" and then tick the delete and create new partition ad click OK for both "DATA" and "SD" card.
(This the very important part)


Step 9:Now Start BS and again install any other free recharge apps like cashboss, grappr etc and earn recharge .

Step 10: Repeat the above process and use various apps to earn free recharge ..

Note - Don't change any other values , it'll crash BlueStacks.

    Hi , smartphone users or should i say Android users ?

    • You probably would have purchased your smartphone after doing hours of research in the internet about its specs , performance and i can say that you've read more than 50 user reviews about the phone , Right ?
    • One of your main concern would be RAM (2 GB min) as it is directly related to your phone's performance speed .At first you can't find a lag or glitch in your smartphone it will be smooth as butter . Well , it's manufactured that way.
    When the Problem Starts

    • It would be 5 - 8 months since your purchase and now you will be starting to experience performance degradation and there will be lags here and there while you swipe through the menu or when you dial a number .
    • Here's the problem , android is all about background tasks just visit your running apps section in your settings . You would probably find a bunch of apps running and using the RAM without your permission . Damn , that's bad right ?
    Some apps that you haven't used in decades , even those guys will be running behind the screen and eating your RAM/Memory .
    Solution 1:

    > Uninstall unused apps(Rarely Used) or useless apps that you won't need right now

    • Greenify actually does stop background apps from running behind the screen when you are not using it (Literally).
    • Unlike RAM cleaners , Greenify stops the apps from running behind by enabling hibernation mode and stops the apps from restarting
    • You can use Greenify to stop specific apps from running behind example games can run behind even after you close it.
    Use this app to stop background applications to save your RAM from those buggers

     Steps To Use Greenify -

    Step 1: Check your running apps before and after Turning on Greenify.

    Step 2: Install Greenify ( PlayStore Link )

    Step 3: Open Greenify and click on " + " to add apps to the hibernation list.

     Step 4: Click on Show More apps and add them to list.

    Step 5: Some apps won't appear so you need to manually open the app by click on search icon and open the app which adds it to the hibernation list.


    Step 6: Create a hibernation shortcut to turn on hibernation easily.

     Step 7: Allow Greenify to be your device administrator so that it can stop apps from running behind.
    *Note - If you've got root then there are more additional features in greenify.
    Step 8 : Use the hybernation shortcut to put the apps to sleep . Click on it and watch what happens .Then go to Settings > Running Apps and you'll see the magic.

     Solution 3 (For Rooted Devices Only):

    > Use LagFix (PlayStore Link)

    What's LagFix ?

    • LagFix is a user-friendly implementation of fstrim utility. It allows you to select which partitions to trim (you should leave defaults unless you know what you are doing) and run the process easily.
    • Please note that fstrim output depends on kernel and device. It works fine unless you see errors. You might see big amounts of bytes, zero amount or repeating amount. All are fine! Read fstrim manual to understand why all these outputs are valid.

    Steps To Use LagFix -

    Step 1: Install LagFix (PlayStore Link)

     Step 2: Open the app and click Run and give it some time  don't close the app.

     Step 3: You'll get a message Finished, hurray! when the process is done.

    Have you ever tried to record your android screen ? 

    Yeah it is possible to perform screen capture in your android device without installing any app's on your device .

    Requirements : 
    > Android Phone [Root Not Required]
    > PC
    > USB Cable
    > Java Development Kit (JDK) (Official Link)

    Steps to perform screen record on your android -

    Step 1: Enable USB Debugging option in your android device
    Settings -> Developer Options -> USB Debugging (Tick The Check Box)
    Note* - If Developer options is not visible in your settings go to 
    Settings -> About Phone -> Software Information -> More -> Build Version (Tap it multiple times until a message pops up that you are now a developer)

    Step 2: Install Java Development Kit (JDK).

    Step 3: If you have Android SDK already in your PC then it becomes easier.
    (If you are a developer then you would have already installed Android SDK)

    IF YOU DONT HAVE ANDROID SDK SKIP TO STEP 5

    Step 4: Open Android SDK and check if you have installed Google USB Driver plugin ,if not install it and Skip to step 7



     Step 5: If you don't have Android SDK then you need ADB(ADB can be used for various purposes like copying a file to VM, installing apps, debugging, etc.)
    Step 6.1: Extract ADB to a folder.

    Step 7: Then open Command prompt and change to the location of your ADB using command

     >If you have already installed Android SDK

    cd location/sdk/platform-toolsPaste your code

    (replace location with sdk's installed location)

     >If you have downloaded ADB

    cd adb-location

    (replace location with adb folder location , where you extracted it)

     and press enter.

     Step 8: Now Connect your android phone to your PC using USB cable( Make sure USB debugging is enabled before connecting )

    Step 9: Now type in the command -

    adb devices
    in command prompt and press enter , it will display the connected devices.

    Step 10: Type the command 
    adb shell
     in the command prompt and press enter .

    Step 11: Now type this command in the shell

    screenrecord --verbose /sdcard/filename.mp4
    you can use any filename you want.


    Step 12: Now the recording will start and press " ctrl+c " to end the recording.

    Step 13: The recorded file will be stored in the sdcard of your phone.
